A New Workshop to Build the Capacities of Libyan Economic Diversification Team
A training program was held in Tunis during the first week of September 2024, specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of the technical team responsible for implementing the economic diversification policies project in Libya, which the National Economic and Social Development Board formed. It is worth noting that this team is composed of members from several relevant ministries.
This training is designed to be highly practical and focused on a wide range of essential topics, from the theoretical foundations of economic development and development thinking to the latest tools and techniques used in economic policy analysis. The training methodology relied on practical application by allowing participants to analyze real-life cases from several economic development and economic diversification experiences. This contributes to deepening their understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing countries seeking to diversify their economies.
The attendees included the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Undersecretary, Dr. Saleh Al-Ghoul, Expertise France in Libya Director of Programs, Mr. Maxime Bost, and the concerned team members.
This training program comes within the activities of the E-nable project funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France for a diversified and resilient Libyan economy.
