A Preparatory Meeting in Tunis Preceding the Launch of E-NABLE Project

In preparation for the official launch of the E-NABLE project in Tripoli in May, a meeting was held in Tunis on the 14th of April 2022 with the aim of discussing the proposed action plan and the expected results of the project component on drafting a collaborative national digital strategy in the Libyan public economic institutions and contributing to leveraging digital innovations for inclusive and sustainable development in Libya.

Among the attendees were Mr. Abdel Baset Al-Baaour, President of the General Information Authority, Mr. Janis Alzsalnieks, Economic Support Officer at the European Union Delegation in Libya, Mr. Mohamed Sowaid from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ms. Iman Taleb, Adviser at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Mr. Wadih Kabbar, Coordinator in the Ejraat platform, Mr. Julien Schmitt, Program Director at Expertise France, Mr. Mohamed El-Aswad, Deputy team leader at Expertise France, and Essia Enard, Project Manager at Expertise France.

The E-NABLE project is a program funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France and aims to improve the capacities of key economic institutions for sustainable, diversified, and digital economic recovery.
