“Drafting of the Digitalization Strategy for the Economic Institutions in Libya” Workshop

“Drafting of the Digitalization Strategy for the Economic Institutions in Libya” workshop was organized in Tunis on the 15th of October, with the attendance of representatives of the General Commercial Registry, the General Information Authority, the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Tax Authority, the Customs Authority, the Notaries Syndicate, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Labor. The workshop was presented by digital governance experts, Mr.Azan Patrice, Digital innovation project manager at the Ministry of Finance in France, and Mr.Vrignaud Philippe, Director of the Digital Citizen File project in France.
During the workshop, the experts presented the French experience and best practices for digital transformation. The attendees also discussed the French “simplified procedures” system, which includes administrative procedures for a fully digital and paper-free national platform.
This workshop comes within the E-NABLE project, a program funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France and aims to improve the capabilities of the main economic institutions in Libya and develop digital governance tools for a sustainable, diversified and digital economic recovery.
