Libyan Delegation Joins Expertise France at TSEET24 Conference on Sustainable Energy

At the invitation of Expertise France, a number of specialists representing the relevant Libyan institutions participated in the First International Conference on Technologies for Sustainable Energy and Energy Transition (TSEET24) held in Hammamet, Tunisia, from June 26-28, 2024. The conference aims to promote research, innovation, and industrial application by bringing together international experts in the field of sustainable energy.

TSEET24 presents an excellent opportunity to gather specialists, researchers, industry leaders, and startups from the energy and technology sectors to explore and discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in energy development. The conference covered a wide range of topics, including renewable energy transmission and storage, artificial intelligence applications in renewable energy systems, smart energy management, green facilities and industries, and environmentally friendly technologies.

The Libyan delegation, a diverse group of 50 representatives, includes key figures from various relevant institutions. These include the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Planning, the Planning Institute, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Local Government and Utilities, the Ministry of Housing and Construction, the Renewable Energy Authority, the Electricity Company, the Central Bank of Libya, other banks, and university professors from various Libyan universities.

This participation falls under the E-nable project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France. The project aims to achieve diversified and sustainable economic growth in Libya.
