A New Workshop on Credit Guarantee Funds to Support the Financing of SMEs in Libya

A workshop on the importance of financial information and the mechanisms of credit guarantee to encourage banks to finance small and medium-sized enterprises is being held in Tunisia between May 21 to 24, 2024. This workshop is organized in cooperation with experts from Bpifrance and with the participation of representatives from the relevant departments of the Central Bank of Libya, Credit Guarantee Fund, Jumhouria Bank, Sahara Bank, Wahda Bank, National Commercial Bank, North Africa Bank, and Al-Waha Bank.

This workshop is part of the activities of the E-nable project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France. The project aims to support the banking sector and build the capacities of its staff, which contributes to improving access to finance and supports the private sector in Libya.
