Enhancing Government Services in Libya: Java Training Targets Tax, Customs, and the Ministry of Finance
In coordination with the Department of Financial Institutions and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Finance, a new specialized technical training was held targeting trainees from the information technology teams at the Tax Authority, the Customs Authority, and the Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Finance, in the period from the 20th to 23rd of December 2023. Mr. Fayez Kharrat, a digital expert from the French Directorate General of Public Finance, presented this training.
This training covered coding in Java using Spring and Vue.js, Data and Forms management, and User and Authentication management. The aim is to enhance the capabilities of Libyan institutions in the field of information technology, especially in various Java applications, thus contributing to the development of government services and improving the quality of life for the citizens.
It should be noted that this training came as a follow-up to a training conducted one month before in Tunis, focusing on the basics of coding in Java EE, VUE JS, and Enterprise BEANS.
This initiative comes as part of the E-nable project funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France to support the digitization and diversification of the Libyan economy.
