A workshop on the needs assessment for the public-private sector partnership (PPP)

A workshop on the needs assessment for the public-private sector partnership (PPP) was held in Tunis and brought together delegates from relevant institutions from both sectors with a group of experts in the field.

 

This workshop comes within the framework of implementing the E-NABLE project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France for a diversified and resilient Libyan economy. The public and private sector partnership project aims to strengthen the partnership between the two sectors to contribute to the diversification of the Libyan economy through implementing projects of common interest. It also seeks to improve the economy’s efficiency and competitiveness, reduce the burden on the public sector, and provide new job opportunities.

 

Among those attending the workshop were the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Trade for Economic Affairs and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Supervisory Affairs, and several delegates from the Ministry of Foreign affair and International Cooperation, Ministry of Planning, the Libyan businessmen Council, the General Company for Water and Sanitation, the General Authority for Investment and Privatization Affairs, and PPP Libya, Aljoumhoriya Bank, Yaqeen Bank, Country Representative and Programs Director of Expertise France in Libya and representatives of Expertise France in Libya.
